Campus Life

The University of Connecticut Masters in Financial Risk Management Program is offered on UConn's Stamford and Hartford Regional Campuses.

Students in the program frequently participate in On and Off campus activities at all UConn locations.  Along with the activities and events provided by the program and the UConn Alumni Foundation, students also engage in city sponsored networking events, professional conferences and community service projects.

Stamford, Connecticut

UConn’s Stamford campus is located directly downtown.

Fairfield County, Connecticut is known worldwide for being home to many of the worlds largest hedge funds. The Stamford location provides easy access to internships, field placements and jobs with Fortune 500 companies, Hedge Funds and other organizations.

Students on this campus are able to take advantage of the wonderful restaurants, parks, shopping and nightlife that Stamford has to offer. With New York City being a quick train ride away, students enjoy exploring Manhattan and the surrounding metropolitan area.

Hartford, Connecticut

The UConn Graduate Business Learning Center is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Hartford, the capital of CT.
Our downtown campus affords students the opportunity to network, intern, and work in Hartford, the insurance capital of the world, and home to other Fortune 500 companies.  Hartford is nearly equidistant to both Boston and New York City, so students enjoy the opportunity to participate in conferences and other events at these two major financial cities. Students are also able to enjoy the Storrs Campus, just a short distance away.

Events

Whether enjoying a UConn sporting event, Campus Cultural Celebration, such as Chinese New Year and Diwali, or any other Program/University sponsored or affiliated activities, students in the MSFRM program have a wide range of opportunities at their disposal.
