Stephan Ariyan is the Senior Vice President of Market Compliance and Chief Compliance Counsel for Olam International Limited (“Olam”).  Olam is an international agricultural commodities supply chain manager headquartered in Singapore trading in, among other products, physical and financial derivatives of cocoa, coffee, cotton, grains, sugar, palm, rubber and dairy.  Stephan leads Olam’s global Market Compliance team and is charged with maintaining compliance within the global futures derivatives markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia.  Stephan has over 20 years of experience in the energy, banking and agricultural commodities sectors advising executive leadership on legal, regulatory and compliance matters.

Stephan received his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law and holds a Master of Science degree from Columbia University in New York City.  Stephan is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and the District of Columbia.
